Tony Wong, the founder of TAK, is the son of Chinese immigrants who came to Canada in search of a better life. Like so many families who’ve built a home in this country, Tony grew up watching his parents work tirelessly — not for wealth or recognition, but for stability, opportunity, and family.
From a young age, he learned what it meant to put others first. His parents taught him that honest work, humility, and care for others are not just values — they’re responsibilities.
That lesson stayed with him through every chapter of his life:
From his early days working up north in Fort St. John, gaining hands-on experience across residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC…To eventually returning to Vancouver and finding his calling not just in systems — but in people.
